Today I’m going to talk about my biggest inspirations.
Throughout the past 17 days, I’ve been pretty productive and I’m super proud of myself. Two YouTubers have helped me to get myself through this so far. They both have also gone down the productivity route, and their results motivate me to work hard to get my own results.
Dave From Boyinaband
You may have seen Dave’s most popular video, entitled “Don’t Stay In School” – it’s a rap he wrote about the school system and to be honest I love it. Despite its controversial title, it deals with serious flaws in our schooling. However, Dave’s video which motivates me the most is “The Happiness Experiment”. In this video Dave tries out a ‘Commitment Contract’ (or a Threat Bet), which involves him being productive for a certain amount of time and sticking to a strict schedule, or he has to donate £10,000 to Scientology. Watching Dave try, and achieve, his goal and seeing how much happier it makes him inspires me to bring that level of happiness into my own life. When I’m finding the productivity project extremely hard, I’ll just go back and watch Dave’s video, and it always helps me get back onto my feet again.

Emma Blackery is a musician and YouTuber, and at the start of 2018 she deleted all of her social media posts and started fresh. She also began making weekly vlogs, entitled “In Pursuit Of A Dream”, where Emma takes us through her week, and updates us on how her new album is going. I watch IPOAD every week and it’s become part of my routine. I love watching Emma achieve her goals, and it inspires me to do the same and achieve mine.

Apologies for the slightly short post.
